The Cannock Chase district of Staffordshire now has more than 99 per cent fibre coverage as a result of the Superfast Staffordshire partnership - led by Staffordshire County Council and Openreach, as part of the Government's BDUK programme - when combined with private sector roll-outs.

It's also to invest £100,000 equipping a new fibre engineering academy at its Yarnfield Park training centre.
